What a strange year we have had… so many uncertainties and new normals.
One thing remained certain though and that is that you were and are valued members of The Winchester and a part of our big family. We hope that you and your family and friends are all healthy and safe.
We are so excited to let you know that we are planning to reopen on Monday, 17th May. Nothing would make us happier than seeing you back at the club for a game of snooker or pool or just for a drink with friends.
We know that some of your memberships have expired and we hope that you will come to renew it. The renewal fee is £15. If your membership expiry date fell on the time period between 21st March 2020 and 17th May 2021 we are more than happy to compensate your loss of those months that we were closed during both lockdowns and reimburse your renewal fee with whether two free hours of snooker or pool (your choice) or with three guest passes (value of £5 each).
You might want to know that during both lockdowns we have been busy!
All of our snooker tables have been recovered and we also have purchased brand new sets of balls.
The 6 tables room (snooker) now has air conditioning units to cool and heat.
We have created a new corridor that leads directly into the six tables room thus making tables 11 and 12 completely private and with their own entrances. Both rooms have been re-carpeted.
We have redecorated the interior and exterior throughout and are finally in the process of rebuilding the roof with much needed repairs.
This weekend we are installing a brand new 85” 4K TV to replace our big screen in the lounge area, so now you can watch all our live sports on the state-of-the-art TV technology with sharp picture.
We do hope that you enjoy visiting us again and we cannot wait to welcome you back.
We ask you to respect the COVID-19 regulations in place. Ourselves and our staff are excited and nervous of re-opening again after such a long absence so we ask you to please respect our staff in doing their duties and to please be patient with us all.
