It is with great sadness, regret and disappointment that we have to announce that The Winchester is under threat of closure by the end of the year, due to our landlord’s intention to build 13 flats on this site.
The application can we viewed on:

Most of you will know how much hard work and investment has been put into the club by my wife Svetlana, myself and all our staff past and present, in making this club the premium venue in Leicester, if not the best! We are all tremendously proud of what we have achieved here and we consider our staff and members as family.
If all else fails then we are looking at relocating where we can become bigger and better to continue our business. Therefore if anyone knows of any venues approx 10,000 sq ft then please let us know.
With such a short time scale then we may also need some storage space, so again if anyone knows of anything suitable then please get in touch.
So we would like to say a huge THANK YOU to all our members and staff for making The Winchester such a success story. We have thoroughly enjoyed our time here and appreciate your custom and loyalty, our Winchester family will be sadly missed.
We hope to have your support and understanding in the next few weeks, which will be enormously tasking and emotional.
Mukesh & Svetlana
